Too much happening at once ...

I know the units just started but I have been stressed out all day. Coming up with a topic for my final project has proven to be very difficult, but I think I am somewhat prepared. I am torn between focusing on nutrition or mental health. Both of these topics are of great interest to me it's just a matter of which one is better for scientific research.

This week my nutrition class is providing unneeded stress. I have lots of projects to complete and a quiz with math involved. Math has always been stress inducing no matter what caliber it is. I am also looking into getting an apartment, and waiting to hear back about it is driving me crazy. This will be the first time I have been on my own, and it is kind of scary.

On a lighter note the snow is beginning to melt. Here is the lake outside of my house. It's melting in patches and the ducks left footprints in the remaining slush.

  1. Carrie,
Hang in there! From your post I have gathered that you are intellectually adept at handling stressfull situations. To handle them mentally , you can always rely on faith and the confidence in the fact that you have overcome other obstacles in life. Take a time out to breathe and remember that life is presented largely by the actions and efforts we put into it. Call me corny---but with lemons there is always the option of making lemonade. The secret is in finding the sugar. : )

  2. Carrie,
Girl you should be a photographer! This is one awsome picture! I love pictures like this for they speak to the soul. Like music, my taste varies so much. I have always taught my children the appreciation of art, as my mother taught me. I don't like my music censored, I think the artist should be free to say what it is intended for them to say. You should think about a second career in photography.
