This is the end, my only friend the end ...

I am shocked that this semester is over, it went so fast and I can't believe I was able to get all of my work done on time. Since I was in the process of moving during this term I was very worried that I would fall behind. I am so grateful for the knowledge I have gained throughout this term, and I look so forward to my next semester.

This will be nice having off for a week, I can relax and feel like a 25 year old and not a 75 year old constantly worrying about everything.
We are going to see the comedian Brian Regan this Saturday so that should be fun, I am excited to have a weekend free of the stress of getting all of my work done timely and efficiently. Though the semester went fast it was stressful and entailed lots of work.

I hope to have some of the same students in my future classes. Next semester I have math which is definitely anxiety-inducing, but I have faith that I will do well.

Hopefully I can keep up with this blog every now and again when I have the time. It was definitely fun learning about everyone and their individual lives ...

The end is near.

As every term passes I am amazed at how quickly time goes by. Here we are already in unit 9 of our classes and anxiously getting our final projects done.

Anyway, I went to New Hope, PA yesterday for my friend Colleens birthday, we had a really nice day. It was gorgeous outside, and the tulips and cherry blossoms were sweetly blooming. I got a beautiful bracelet from an antique jewelry store. It's silver with a real turquoise stone in the center.

Here are the tulips, the picture was taken from my cell phone so it's not so clear, but I have never seen tulips this color before.

I have off from work today and it couldn't be more beautiful outside. I rode my bike to the post office to mail some letters and then to the beach. It's a good thing there is sidewalks everywhere it makes me feel much safer since my eyes are not so great, though wearing my polarized sunglasses does help a bit. After my bike ride I came home and did some yoga, it really relaxes me while energizing me at the same time. What an amazing past time. I sat on the balcony and ate my lunch: a tuna fish sandwich and pears. Very tasty, and nutritious!

This week is group week in my nutrition class, which is kind of fun. I really have to get to work on my final draft, I do not want to wait until the last minute to get it done and be worrying like crazy over it.

It's starting to get a bit cold out I think I may sit inside and do my reading.

This is a fountain near my house, it doesn't have any water in it yet. Look how blue the sky is!

Hello!

I am incredibly tired, I just finished a quiz from my nutrition class, it took me over an hour and I did not do as well as I hoped! I looked up every answer to check myself, some of them are often worded strangely and I always get screwed up on them.

Anyway, I am in my new apartment it's so beautiful here, I don't even feel like I am in the same state. I feel like I am in a hotel somewhere. I really love it here so far! It's quiet and no one is in the building yet, though I am sure since we are near the beach that once summer gets here it will be full of people. Hopefully they will all go away again once the summer is over. :P

Still haven't finished rough draft, I am really stuck on this one, I don't know why, I have terrible writers block, I have been sitting at the computer all day and I feel very stagnant, maybe I should take a break and relax for a while.

Arg ...

Moving is not fun.

Not only am I extremely tired from moving today, but I am extremely frustrated as well. We had everything scheduled for tomorrow to be delivered, at 9:ooPM the delivery company called to tell us that they cannot come until Friday. I already scheduled off on Thursday, now I am to go in to work late on Friday ... so frustrating! I am also so stressed and anxious that I can't concentrate on my school work, and it's making me crazy. I just hope everything goes smoothly with the cable company tomorrow so that I can get my Internet all set up and catch up on my work.

Well Goodnight, the next time I write it will be in my new home.

Sunshine day.

Well hello again,

I feel slightly overwhelmed but once again I am proving how competent I really am. I had a project due yesterday for my Nutrition class, and I started it yesterday. Though I was able t0o complete it on time, I really do not like being rushed like that. We are moving into the apartment next Thursday, and I can not wait! I am nervous and excited all at once, though I think the excitement outweighs the anxiety. I never realized how much our minds are really capable of handling. The human body amazes me more and more every day. We must all support each other, friends and loved ones

Cause for celebration!

Well, we were approved for the apartment, which makes me extremely happy!!

We signed the lease and are moving in on April 1st. So now comes the hard part of furnishings. Luckily my mother bought us a couch, and Ryan's parents a dining room set. Now all we need is a bed frame, and small things like kitchen utensils, pots and pans, and dinnerware. Though they are small, they can still be very costly!!

In addition to these things we need to get used to having mucho monthly bills. Hopefully it won't be too overwhelming.

When it comes to school, I feel I have not had my head in the right place because of all the worrying over the apartment. Now that we have it and we have a set date to move in, I can relax. Since I know myself very well, I know that will not happen until we are in and settled. So I just have to start doing some deep breathing exercises to try and calm my nerves.

My rational mind knows there is nothing to worry about, but my anxiety riddled psyche will forever worry ...

...

Well, I managed to get all of my work done on time last week, despite my anxieties. My boyfriend Ryan and I just watched the new Boondock Saints movie, it was very disappointing. The first movie was fantastic, and this one was overacted and poorly written. It's odd, it was made by the same director, and most of the actors were the same. Though they did throw a female detective in the mix with a severely heavy-handed southern accent, and numerous misplaced action sequences. But I digress, we are still waiting on an answer about the apartment, and it's a cause of much distress. I am hoping we hear back tomorrow, whether it's positive or negative I can not stand the uncertainty.
I think it's time for me to relax for the night, I did a second discussion post for each class and I have to work in the morning.

Too much happening at once ...

I know the units just started but I have been stressed out all day. Coming up with a topic for my final project has proven to be very difficult, but I think I am somewhat prepared. I am torn between focusing on nutrition or mental health. Both of these topics are of great interest to me it's just a matter of which one is better for scientific research.

This week my nutrition class is providing unneeded stress. I have lots of projects to complete and a quiz with math involved. Math has always been stress inducing no matter what caliber it is. I am also looking into getting an apartment, and waiting to hear back about it is driving me crazy. This will be the first time I have been on my own, and it is kind of scary.

On a lighter note the snow is beginning to melt. Here is the lake outside of my house. It's melting in patches and the ducks left footprints in the remaining slush.

The snow that flattens my hair ...

The snow is still falling heavily and I hate that I had to call out of wok again. There is this ever present fear in my mind that they are going to fire me because of my absences.

This is good though, it gives me time to catch up on my school work. So far my classes are both great. I like the professors a lot, and the workloads aren't too terrible and overwhelming.

I kind of like the idea of the blog, it's new and exciting and I am looking forward to learning about my classmates.

So far I am really enjoying my nutrition class, since it is my favorite subject. I believe so strongly in the principles of nutrition and the cliched concept of "we are what we eat."

I really feel good about this term, and I think this blog will help me to express my creative mind.
